L’artista di origine milanese, dipinge dall’età di sette anni. Fin dalla sua infanzia, infatti, ha manifestato interesse per questo mondo, cui si è avvicinata grazie alla zia pittrice e maestra d’arte, che in modo gioioso e giocoso l’ha introdotta dapprima esclusivamente alla pittura su porcellana poi ad altre tecniche, quali carboncino, acquarello, olio, acrilico e smalti portandola in un primo momento a realizzare opere in arte figurative e paesaggistiche.
Da quattro anni a questa parte la pittrice ha cambiato stile con l’avvicinamento all’arte contemporanea.
Le opere dell’artista Daniela Dell’Orto ci rimandano all’America degli anni 40 quando nasce l’espressionismo astratto, in particolare all’esplosione artistica dell’Action painting, un’arte vissuta dall’artista come luogo di esistenza dove convoglia le proprie emozioni, le proprie energie nell’atto stesso di dipingere.
Oggi la pittura di Daniela assume un nuovo significato di esperienza interiore perché attraverso il colore riesce a raccontare emozioni vive ed esplosive che su tela rappresentano il proprio vissuto e la propria intimità nella libera composizione di linee e forme astratte senza imitare la realtà quotidiana in cui viviamo.
L’artista non vuole rappresentare la realtà del mondo come la percepisce attraverso i suoi occhi, ma dove trionfa una pittura immediata, libera, spontanea che grazie alla vitalità del colore rivela emozioni, sentimenti e significati presenti dentro di se, liberamente in movimento, come turbinio interiore.
I suoi lavori sono realizzati sempre di getto e difficilmente seguono un regia di risultato, la pittura è istintiva ed immediata deriva solo dalle emozioni profonde che sgorgano dall’anima con l’impeto di un vulcano e rappresentano solo quel momento, unico ed irripetibile.
Per l’artista dipingere è un’azione automatica dell’inconscio un lasciarsi completamente andare dando libero sfogo alle emozioni, agli stati d’animo del momento, emblematica è la frase che spesso ripete “VIVERE IL QUI E ORA” cioè vivere l’istante, magico ed irripetibile nella vita come nella pittura.
Si passa da pura euforia, sorpresa ed intensa gioia a istanti bui, tristi o di rabbia, dove il tratto viene delineato graffiando addirittura con le dita sulla tela grezza. E’ questa ricerca artistica focalizzata esclusivamente sulle emozioni ed il suo colore corrispettivo di circostanza, scelto a caso in quel determinato momento, fa si che anche lo sgocciolamento del colore sulla tela assuma significato narrativo di uno stato d’animo, trasformato in un “dripping emotions”.
The artist, native of Milan has been painting since she was 7 ,showing an interest towards this world since her childhood, also thanks to her aunt, painter and art teacher, who cheerfully and playfully introduced her at first exclusively to porcelain painting and afterwards to other techniques such as charcoil, watercolours, oil painting, acrylic and enamel painting, leading her to the realization of works of visual art and landscapes.
In the last four years the artist has changed her style becoming interested in contemporary art.
The works by Daniela Dell’ Orto bring us back to America in its 40s when abstract expressionism was born , in particular to the artistic outbreak of the Action painting, an art lived by the artist like place of existence where ,while painting ,she directs her own emotions, her own energies .
Nowadays Daniela’s painting style acquires a new meaning of inner experience because through the colour she is able to tell us about vivid and fiery emotions which on the canvas represent her life experience and her soul in the free composition of abstract lines and shapes without imitating the daily reality we live in.
The artist doesn’t want to represent the reality of the world in the way she perceives it through her eyes, but where an immediate, open and spontaneous painting triumphs and which thanks to the vitality of the colour reveals emotions, feelings and meanings felt deep inside herself, freely in movement, just like an inner whirlwind.
Her works are always realized in one go and rarely follow a controlled directing; painting is instinctive and immediate ,emerging from the deepest emotions of her soul like a volcano and represents only that unique and irreplaceable moment.
For the artist ,painting is an automatic action of her subconscious ,a free act which lets her emotions and her state of the soul run free; emblematic is her sentence “live in the here and now” that is, live the magical and unique moment of your life as well as in painting.
She passes from pure euphoria, joy and astonishment to gloomy ,sad and enraged moments where her touch is outlined by scratches on the raw canvas made with her own fingers.
It is this artistic research focused exclusively on emotions and colours, chosen on the spot ,to make the dripping of the colour on the canvas a representation of her state of the soul, converted into “dripping emotions”
